about us curriculum admissions contact us facilities

The Metropolitan Day School, Inc., founded in 1998 by the Metropolitan Baptist Church, is a coeducational institution that enrolls students in grades K-3 (3 years) through Grade five.  Our mission is to develop the minds, bodies and spirits of children, creating in them a passion for lifelong learning, a commitment to caring for others, and habits of healthy living.

We are committed to the pursuit of excellence, integrating learning and faith so that our students become the academic and spiritual leaders of the future. While acknowledging our foundation in the African American church, we teach children to appreciate the cultures and accomplishments of the diversity of God's people.
