about us curriculum admissions contact us facilities

Metropolitan Day School of Mathematics, Science and Technology was founded in 1998 as the Metropolitan Day School. In 2009 during the process of evaluating the curriculum offerings and gathering research information about the trends in education and the performance of high school and college students in the areas of mathematics, science and technology, it was evident that there was a need to change the focus our program to provide a 21st century educational program for elementary students, which will increase their ability to succeed in middle, high school and college.

We are committed to the pursuit of excellence, Students in grades pre-kindergarten through five will be exposed to the process of discovery learning through the integration of scientific inquiry using technology as a teaching tool. Students will creatively design and build projects utilizing advanced reading, mathematics, science, communications skills and technology. The students’ school year will also include many creative extra-curricular activities. Students will participate in presentations such as theatre, dance, music, authorship, and public speaking.
